Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, the second batch of fresh sweet cherry weighing 17.8 tons was delivered by charter flight of the Uzbekistan Havo Yollari National Airline to Incheon, Dunyo news agency reported.

The cargo formed in Turakurgan district of Namangan region was sent by Gold Dried Fruits Export to the South Korean partner NK GlobalNet Co., Ltd. Uzbek cherries will be distributed in South Korea through a network of wholesale and retail enterprises.

The first batch of Uzbek sweet cherry was delivered to the Republic of Korea on 15 May.

It should be noted that the Korean Agency for Animal and Plant Quarantine in 2020 granted permission to six Uzbek companies to supply fresh cherries to the market of the Republic of Korea – Gold Dried Fruits Export LLC (Tashkent), Uz-Segang JV (Ferghana Region), Brand Investment Group Agro LLC (Andijan region), Pure Fruit Trade LLC (Namangan region), Namangan Agro Logistics LLC (Namangan region) and Samarkand Garden Plast LLC (Samarkand region).

The diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in Seoul continues to work actively to promote the products of domestic enterprises on the market of the Republic of Korea.

Uzbek cherries are sold in supermarkets of the Republic of Korea
